It’s been a bumpy ride i must admit.

To start, me (Feorasz) and Kajol where on vacation leaving the roster pretty much in crumbles and wasting most of the first week of Dragon Soul. The second week was a lot better and bosses where flying down, leaving only Madness of Deathwing to fault on Monday. The mechanics where quite easy but we couldn’t quite crack phase II on Monday so we decided to use our ‘Backup Tuesday’ because another week of ‘normal’ Dragon Soul would be a waste.

Fortunately a lot of our players where good enough to cancel their Tuesday plans to come back for some serious Deathwing whooping. We decided to return to the 2-3-5 setup and try to gently push to phase II. The curse of Blizzardry tried to fault our tactics by making people disappear in the ravines (instead of bouncing them to the next platform, which is always a nice waste of 12-13 minutes.) but we refused to give up.

This ended up with a Down around 10:30 that evening and a cheer of relief from our raid team. The Cataclysm was over and Alexstrasza finally dropped her arrogance and admits she’s useless.

Oh right besides normal loot, Kenny ‘Scoutboy’ Zoljiin received one of the first Mounts from Deathwing as if he wasn’t spoiled enough.

We are all looking forward for the next chapter in our progression namely ‘Heroic Modes’. As we will face new challenges that most likely will exceed the normal difficulty.
