Lord “whatyoumacallit” is Down!

We started progressing on this boss last week, this fight feels like progressing cho’gall. He is really easy to get to 25% but is not easy to down, infact the hard part is getting him properly in the last phase. Constantly getting a soft enrage before he popped his phase, so we changed to the advised approach.

With two healers we started re-learning the fight in a high pace, adjusting along the way. But it wasn’t until yesterday that everything started clicking, healing was swift, volcano kiting worked perfect and with extra help from the ranged the boss hit his phase before the enrage started.

Now superheated stacks up like a duke on steroids, but unresponsive we started nuking fast and he went down like a sack of shit. Massive DPS race in the end because the boss is likely to wipe you in 25 seconds!

Given, not everyone survived but the result was there. Lord Ryolith finally got killed and we went home with a bag of goodies. A down expected a few days earlier, but rather late then never! As a nice bonus Jistro (again) qualified his DPS on lord Ryolith as world 7th.
